Either way, there will be time for discussion of the film afterward, as well as socializing. One change is that we will not necessarily schedule just one movie a month. This group is for people interested in writing character-driven screenplays with strong narrative values. A screenplay isn't a novel, and it's not a film. It's a tool to get a critical mass of professionals together to make a film. The stronger the story and the more human the characters, the better the screenplay. Classic narrative structure will be encouraged as a respectful basis for script critique, as will analysis of classic and current films and scripts for technique. All genres welcome!
