Silent Film Lovers Unite!

Are you a casual fan or bonafide scholar? All are welcome to join We Had Faces Then: The Silent Film Meetup. We will attend whatever silent films are showing (mainly in NYC but possibly other areas) and afterwards get a bite and discuss the film. This is a new group and I am open to any other ideas for activities.

If you love the 20s, classic film, or any of the many legendary stars of the era, this is your meetup.

“I enjoy the occasional silent film at Moma or Czech Center. The "overacting" by today's standards and of course the classic and dramatic plots.”

“I love silent movies. I haven't seen nearly as many as I would like to, but I hope to change that my seeing them with people who appreciate them. I count Fritz Lang's masterpiece Metropolis and F. W. Murnau's Nosferatu as my favorites.”
