Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly? and/or Joan Crawford or Bette Davis?: Fred Astaire, no question. As for Bette Davis and Joan Crawford... I might say Joan Crawford just for 'Mildred Pierce' alone, then again there's Bette Davis' turn in 'All About Eve'.
Favorite classic film actor / actress?: Off the top of my head: Montgomery Clift, Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn, Gene Tierney, Marilyn Monroe, Simone Signoret.
What is your favorite classic film?: Does 'Doctor Zhivago' qualify as a classic film?
What was the film that made you fall in love with classic films?: Have been immersed in classic films since I was very small but possibly 'The Red Balloon' -- my father would wake me up at 5 in the morning to watch the title balloon float above the streets of Paris whenever it was on our local public tv station when i was a wee lass.
